Jaxson

I got to meet Nathan and Hayleys new little guy, Jaxson last Sunday and he is such a FANTASTIC baby! First of all, he is adorable, which I knew he would be and he was an excellent model. He let us move him around and do what we wanted for the most part, and he only wee’d on Nathan once!

He is such a happy little bub:

And can pull the funniest faces:

I think he’s in a pretty good paddock:

A thoughtful moment:

Babies just seem to know just how to look so darn cute:

Some pics with Dad:

I LOVE these photos of the new little family!:

Jo and Shane

For my first Iluka wedding, Mother Nature decided to turn on the wind…in a big way!! But for my awesome couple, Jo and Shane, nothing was going to bother them!!

The wedding took place on Iluka Bay (near the pirate ship park for anyone in the know!) and the reception followed in a big marquee overlooking the water….nice!

As per my usual m.o. I called around to the boys first to see what they were up to…Shane suggested a quick trip down the pub…who am i to argue?

Then I cruised over the the girls who where already looking stunning:

Dad seeing Jo for the first time:

Debbie May doing another fantastic job of the flowers:

Jo has an infectious laugh:

It was only a short walk to the ceremony location:

Where it was blowing a gale:

Not that it worried us at all:

I love this series taken shortly after the ceremony:

Then a quick drive down to Iluka Beach and we were ready for some more pics:

We took most of our photos down here as it was quite protected and the light was just PERFECT!

The bridal perty were sitting back relaxing so we thought we should get them up and make them run around a bit!:

Now back to the people of the day:

There we some delicious looking cupcakes for the wedding cake:

And here we have the party people:

I couldn’t decide which ring shot to blog….so I decided to blog both!:

Thanks Jo and Shane for a fantastic day!! Congratulations to you both! Hope you a had a great time in Fiji!

Thanks also to Jess for helping out on Jo and Shanes day:

And for snapping this pic of me in action!!:

A perfect day!

As a photographer I get to see people on one of the most amazing days of their lives. I get a close view of couples and their relationships, even though it is only for a limited time. One of the things that stood out about Sandy and Bryson was just how much fun they were and how much fun they had together!!

Even though we were having torrential rain in the days leading up to their planned outdoor ceremony, neither of them were concerned, they were both casual and relaxed and ready to take the plunge into married life rain, hail or shine!!

There were HEAPS of photos I wanted to blog but I’ve cut it down to 30 odd! So grab a coffee, sit yourself down and enjoy Sandy and Brysons perfect day…..

A relaxed portrait of the groom:

the boys:

The house where the boys got ready was surrounded by cane fields so I couldn’t pass up this shot!

Then it was down to Yamba where the girls were getting beautified:

Small details:

The scent of the day was Poeme:

Sandy getting a bit of loving before getting on her dress:

Sandy and her bridesmaids were so much fun and so not into hamming it up for the camera!

The ceremony was held at the lookout at Brooms Head, you couldn’t ask for a better backdrop.

You may kiss the bride……what ????

Now we have it….the kiss!!

We took a few casual shots around at the lookout and along Brooms Head beach:

Oooh baby…where are you taking me?

Yep! I think Sandy is pretty darn happy with her hot new husband!

Just love this photo of the bridal party chilling out on the rocks:

One of Sandys bridesmaids had baby number 1 on board, so we had an impromptu pregnancy session on the waters edge:

After the beach we went back to the farm and I couldn’t resist catching a quick shot of Sandy in this yummy light:

The wedding vehicles:

The calm before the silliness begins!:

Look what married couples get up to in canefields when no-one (but the photographer!) is looking!:

The cake cutting ( or is it the strawberry toss?):

A hot looking ring shot:

Congratulations Sandy and Bryson!! I hope you had an amazingly funtastic day! I know I certainly did shooting your wedding for you! Thanks for having me along!
