Thank you my dear friend. You always believed in me, always had faith in me and you have given me so much knowledge, inspiration and courage.
I would not be where I am without having known you.
You are a light in my life that will never extinguish.

I love it when special dates roll around in the year….07.07.07, 06.07.08, you get my drift…one of the hot dates for this year was….08.08.08. A date I am unlikely to forget because I was privileged enough to photograph a very intimate wedding set in a sensational location.
Shane and Ebony were married in the grounds of the Sapphire Seas Beachhouse, the place was a photographers dream!
Ebby getting all made up:

Her dress was fabulous:

Our groom:

Our bride:

We were running just a bit late!

Being walked down the aisle by her Mum and Dad:

Mwah:

The “big group photo”….all my clients want one of these!

Looking just a bit blissfully happy:

There were sooo many cool spots for photos, starting at the front door:

The heading up the stairs, Cinderella style:

And the glass slipper is a perfect fit:

Out to the pool:

Then off to the beach:

Having a little bit of a rest before heading into the reception:

Spin, spin, twirl, twirl…

Love this photo!

Stealing away for a moments solitude:

Me just trying to be different and creative:

Congratulations Shane and Ebby, wishing you a lifetime of love and laughter.
Until next time,
Vicki
Little Olivia called into my house the other day, with her very lovely mum Kristal who you may remember from an earlier blog post. Olivia is coming back to my house tomorrow for her ‘proper’ photos but, me being me, I couldn’t help but snap a few while she was here.
Only 14 days old and just soooo cute:

and very loved:

I really wanted to keep her, but her mum wanted her back…funny that!:

Until next time,
Vicki

Here’s a sneak peak from Shane and Ebonys wedding yesterday…..more to come this week!

Please excuse the grumpy child..but it is one of the things my 5 year old does best. She calls it ‘attituding’. she is an expert…except when she is being a princess…then she is not attituding..apparently. But I still think she is.
Now I don’t actually think that ‘attituding’ is a real word, but for us it is very real..it looks like this:

and this:

and this:

Don’t you love the fingernails…princesses ALWAYS have their nails painted.
Sometimes the attituding even looks like this:

Can’t you see the difference……me either! It’s amazing how long she can keep the attituding going.
And now a final photo of the future queen…(she’s so gunna kill me for writing this when she’s older….that’s OK…there’s worse photos that she doesn’t even know about yet!)

Until next time,
Vicki
