Hello and welcome to my new blog everyone! My name is Vicki and I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in Yamba, NSW. I shoot weddings, families, kids, and any other random project that may catch my eye!
This blog serves as a journal for both my personal and professional life. It features images from the weddings and portrait sessions I shoot, the places I travel and my friends and family. It’s also an information source for my current and potential clients. This site is informal and I just want to give everyone a sense of who I am, and what I am all about.
Thanks for visiting.

I am currently in the process of organising my sister Alison’s wedding (I am an event manager – handy) and came across your site when I googled ‘Yamba weddings”.
We lived in Inverell, and used to holiday in Yamba every school holidays from when we were babies right through until Year 12. Yamba holds very very fond memories for us, and seems perfect to have Ali’s wedding there. I now live in Canberra and she and her fiance live in Sydney, and it has been many years since I have been back to Yamba.
Ali would love to have the actual ceremony at the lighthouse and judging by your photos, it would be absolutely perfect, especially as we spent many many hours up on the hill, racing through the bushes and around the lighthouse itself.
My dilemma is the reception venue, and I’m hoping you might be able to offer a few suggestions. I note there is a new resort between Yamba and Angourie which looks very nice, but maybe a little “commercial”. I attended a wedding at the Pacific Hotel many many years ago which was fabulous – still any good? Anywhere else a local like yourself and someone in the industry might recommend? We’re probably looking at about 130 people, sometime after NYE 2008. At least I won’t have trouble finding a photographer! (hope you’re not booked up already).
Kind regards
Karen Byron
These are amazing photos! I am living in France and making a Google search to remember my time in autralia I found your site. You are a very talented artist. And you can even feel one strong and amazing person behind the camera. I hope you keep blessing the world with your gift.
Your work is beautiful. I have heard your name around these parts and thought I’d Google and check out your work. Very glad I did! Ever thought of doing any workshops?
Hi Carley,
Thank you your lovely comments. I haven’t really considered any workshops at this stage, but it could be something that I would look at in the future. Taking photos is just soooo much fun, how awesome would it be to do that with a great group of other photographers, hanging out together and sharing knowledge. If you have any ideas or suggestions on what people may be interested in, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Much appreciation,
Vicki
