Things have been very very quiet on the blogging front of late, reason being I have been using my spare time to work on my new website and blog site.

How lucky am I? I photographed one of the C.U.T.E.S.T. one year olds ever!

This little one is going in full promo mode for her daddy Casey Barnes, a finalist in Australian Idol 2009.

Yesterday I was very lucky to have my eldest daughter come along and help with my photo shoot. She carried bags, watched children, provided entertainment, stayed out of the cameras angle and generally just helped out. She didn’t complain once. I think the fact that we were going to the lolly shop straight after the shoot may have had something to do with her wonderful behaviour. Yeah.

I loved the location we shot in so much that I shot this one of her quickly while we were out there. I love it, I think she looks beautiful without even having done her hair…but I am biased!

I know…it’s been such a long time since I have posted. I have a few blog posts in the works but none are quite ready for publishing. I’ve had a bit going on so I’ve let the blog slide……bad photographer…..

Anyway, I’ve had a couple of days away from home with my fiance and our five children so it’s given me the chance to pull out the camera and grab some shots of the children. I’m embarrassed to say it’s been sooo long since I’ve taken photos of the kids.

I spent this lovely winters morning hanging with this awesome little two year old and his lovely family. We climbed in the cubby house, looked for kangaroos, echidnas and koalas, listened to bird calls, and pretended to whipper snip and dig in the ground with pretend tools. Sound effects included. It was priceless.

I have been looking forward to photographing this wedding for sooo long. Katrina and Scott were married yesterday at the Yamba Lighthouse. We were blessed with perfect weather during the ceremony, an amazing rainbow after a short rain shower followed by a spectacular sunset.
